Deirdre Rawlings is a Certified Health Coach, Holistic Nutritionist, Master Herbalist, Naturopathic doctor, Author, and a Certified Plant-Based Chef. Coaching, speaking, and writing through the foundation of Nutrition to help people reach Peak Performance & Optimum Health in a holistic way.

Deirdre is the author of 7 books, including two best-sellers: Foods That Fight Fibromyalgia and Fermented Foods for Health (Fairwinds Press). She writes and speaks publicly about health, nutrition, and the many ways food is truly your first and best medicine. She is a passionate leader in Championing / Coaching / Empowering people and an enthusiastic student of Health, Well Being, Fitness, and Fun.

Deirdre specializes in performance coaching producing breakthrough results, altering the quality of people's lives with the foundation being Nutrition and foods that support healing. She often draws from firsthand experience and globally sourced remedies across a wide spectrum of healing modalities.

Deirdre's coaching, speaking, and writing is about purpose, vision, educating and empowering people how to take charge of their own health and longevity using the healing powers of food, especially plants. Her goal is to help people find a way of eating that fits them, their schedule and their health needs. And while one size does not fit all, there are several key essential nutrients that are required by the human body on a daily basis for overall health and longevity, and Deirdre addresses these and outlines the foods that contain them.

Deirdre takes a holistic approach to health and wellness and this extends to one's thoughts about the food they are preparing through to the ritual of how the food is consumed and the gratitude shown. She supports the belief that nutrition is a conduit to reach your best and healthiest self.

A passion for nature and the outdoors keeps Deirdre engaged in a number of activities such as swimming ,hiking, adventure, and traveling. She is a lifelong lover of animals and in her spare time fosters and rescues dogs and cats. Deirdre's interest in animals also extends to healing aspects and applying similar nutritional strategies as those she has developed to benefit humans.
