Clark Cothern

Clark Cothern is the Pastor of Living Water Community Church, Ypsilanti, MI.

His writing appears in Leadership Journal, Christianity Today, Discipleship Journal, and PreachingToday.com. Clark's stories have been reprinted in eleven different anthologies. He and his wife, Joy, have three grown children and two grandchildren.

Clark's most memorable adventure was being chased by a lion in Zimbabwe, Africa. (The lion was a 9-month-old and supervised by a lion trainer, but still...)

Clark wrote the script for Boulder Faith (the musical) premiered in 2009. Al Firestone, the composer of the original musical based on the life of Simon Peter, invited Clark to collaborate on the project starting in 2005.

Clark said, "All of us can relate to the character of Simon Peter who made bold promises, broke them, denied the very existence of his friend and mentor (and later Savior), and then experienced forgiveness that gave him hope for eternity and a rock solid faith."
