Adriano Shaplin

I am a playwright, a performer, and a theater maker. I have written nine plays for The Riot Group. I have also written plays for the Royal Shakespeare Company, New Paradise Laboratories, and Pig Iron Theatre Company. I have written about the inside, the outside, the past, the present, and the mystery. I have written about plane crashes, assassins, double suicides, philosophers, fanatics, the Salem witch trials, the Iraq War, a zombie Shakespeare, a 90's dorm room, a sex toy, a national trauma, a perfect day. My plays have been published by Oberon Books, Playscripts Inc, 53rd State Press, Yale's Theater Magazine, and the Wadsworth Anthology of Drama.
