Michael B. Gilbert

Michael Gilbert (b. 1944) is Professor Emeritus from Central Michigan University, where he spent the last 15 years of his academic career. During that time, he received a Special Recognition Award for ongoing research on the Process Education Model, was named to the Hall of Fame and an outstanding educator of the International Listening Association, and was named as a Top 25 Education Professor in Michigan. His continuing area of inquiry is interpersonal interaction and communication. He is a certified Master Trainer of the Process Communication and Process Education models. His earlier book, in its second edition (2012), was Communicating Effectively: Tools for Educational Leaders, in addition to numerous articles and international and national presentation. His current book, Saying It Right: Tools for Deft Leadership, is scheduled to be published by March 2020 by Rowman and Littlefield. His website is : http://atoire.com.
