I am a freelance writer and journalist who was lucky enough to live in Italy for 30 years (yeah, I know!). I have moved back to the USA and now reside in Portland, Oregon.

I write articles about travel, food and wine, sports, culture, and tourism. I also ran an Italy-based wine and food tours business called Wine Friendz for some years, but that is now just a happy memory.

I've written 20 non-fiction books about Italy and one novel set in Italy. Naturally, all are available here on amazon. I plan to keep working on the short non-fiction books, publishing one or two more each year. For now they are Kindle books, but I have in mind they will be combined into a single volume for print.

My next fiction project is a historical novel about one of the most fascinating members of Italy's royal family. That project is my priority now and I am working hard to get it done. Look for it in a year or so!
