Jeff Hardin, originally from Savannah, TN, is an eighth generation descendant of the founder of Hardin county. He is the author of several collections of poetry, including Watermark, Restoring the Narrative, Small Revolution, No Other Kind of World, A Clearing Space in the Middle of Being,. His work has been honored with the Nicholas Roerich Prize, the Donald Justice Poetry Prize, and the X. J. Kennedy Prize. His poems appear in the Southern Review, North American Review, Hudson Review, Poetry Northwest, Zone 3, and many other journals. He teaches at Columbia State Community College in Columbia, TN.
