Allan Janus

Born in Washington DC; schooled in Maryland, Michigan, and Iowa. Made a precarious living as a tintypist in West Virginia, Alexandria, Virginia, and Washington DC. Photographs in the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Baltimore Museum of Art and others. I live in Washington Grove, Maryland, with my cats Max and Maxine.
