Dipak R. Basu

The author currently an Emeritus Professor in Economics at Nagasaki University where he was a Professor in International Economics since 1995. Previously he was a lecturer in Econometrics in Oxford Institute of Agricultural Economics, in the University of Oxford. He was also a Research Officer in the Cambridge Department of Applied Economics at the University of Cambridge.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham, England and Honorary Doctorate from Nagasaki University.
