Charles Timbrell

Born in New Jersey; music degrees (in piano) from Oberlin Conservatory, University of Michigan, University of Maryland; further studies at Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome and privately in Paris. Numerous performances throughout the U.S. and Europe; recorded American music for Dante CD (France) and Vatican Radio and made two DVDs on French piano music for IMC (Tokyo).

Present position: Professor of Music & Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at Howard University, Washington, DC.
