Clear Englebert

I am a feng shui consultant, teacher, speaker, and author. I consult in homes, gardens, and commercial spaces throughout Hawaii, and (via telephone) throughout the world.

I began a career in the book business at age 15. I founded three bookstores, the first in 1971. With decades of experience in retail visual merchandising, I began consulting for homes and businesses on Hawaii in 1994. My feng shui practice, begun on Hawaii, blossomed when I moved to San Francisco in 1996. There I was featured on the popular television program Evening Magazine and the Mandarin-language TV program Evening News, as well as the San Francisco Chronicle. I returned to Hawaii in 2002, and have been featured in Pacific Business News, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, and Hawaii Tribune-Herald. I have also been featured in the Okinawan Times and other Japanese newspapers.

I couldn't practice feng shui if I didn't believe in it, and I wouldn't believe in it if I hadn't seen it work. I feel that my Libra-Rabbit astrological traits suit me to feng shui consulting. I bring practical skills in organizing, merchandising, staging, and horticulture to My work. My Form School (Landform) feng shui practice is noted for accommodating the client's aesthetics and common sense, and for avoiding consumerism and superstition. I want my clients and students to know why they're doing something. It is, after all, their home.
