David Ssembajjo is a self published writer and he has published four books namely The Stolen Gift, A Journey to Maleba, Chronicles of a Soldier and lastly Servants of the Underground. He lives in London where he has made it his home since 1991. He was born in Uganda and lived through many coups and wars and he wrote his book Chronicles of a Soldier based on his experiences of war. He survived and lived to tell the tale. His work is original and focused and has a wide dimension tackling all issues. He worked in several manual jobs as he had to keep his hands busy.
David Ssembajjo is a gifted writer he writes about romance, war epic novels and political books. He was educated in Uganda and admitted to study Geographical Information System in Kingston University and studied Understanding Media with Open University. He has been a former member of English Pen and Player/Playwrights. He joined many writing and reading groups and has written articles for many websites. He continues to write.
He was longlisted for the Papantango New Writing Prize. He also writes plays and poems. He self promotes and edits his work. He is a member of Goodreads and runs a blog. He has a commentary slot with the Guardian newspaper and the New Internationalist magazine. He also writes short stories.
