Janet Taylor

Dr. Janet Taylor is a Community Psychiatrist in Sarasota, Florida. The practice of Community Mental Health is extremely rewarding to Dr. Taylor because "being on the frontline with individuals and their families battling the emotional and economic impact of mental illness is where I can make a difference". Dr. Taylor is a frequent speaker on the impact of Racial Trauma, Racism, Antiracism, Implicit Bias and Conscious Allyship. She graduated both Undergraduate and Medical School from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, and has a MPH from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health, New York City. Dr. Taylor is the proud mother of four daughters.
