Hi, thanks for visiting my Amazon bio!

My name is James (Jim) Laabs, I'm an author, business person and entrepreneur. I'm a long-time Wisconsin resident, with an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. Besides writing, over the years I've owned several successful businesses (and a couple that weren't) and taught at three colleges.

My latest novel is "Sister Planet," published in 2026 and co-authored with Tracy Horan. I love, love, love this book! It's a great, unique sci-fi story, with a lot of thought-provoking ideas. If you are looking for a book that's ideal for a women's book club, Sister Planet would be a wonderful choice.
