Carl Powell

Carl Powell III is a serial entrepreneur, consultant, and author with over five decades of experience in retail, service, manufacturing, and franchise operations. He served on the computer support team at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in the 1990s. He is the creator of the Still Standing Framework™ and the author of five published books on business endurance, networking, and leadership, including Still Standing: How to Build Businesses That Endure and 20 Ways to Kill Your Business: Lessons Learned from 40 Years of Entrepreneurship. He currently operates a successful Bricks & Minifigs franchise and speaks to business groups on margin management, franchise operations, and transition planning. He lives in Alabama with his wife, Susan.
