Gordon Gilhuly

Gordon Gilhuly has been writing for over thirty years and has published two full-length books of poetry and been published in numerous anthologies. His first book, "Not Having Constructed My Ark", is in its second printing and his second book, "Every Poem is a Love Poem", was nominated for the 2000 Governor General’s Award for Poetry. Readers may have seen Gilhuly’s poetry in a number of anthologies; his short stories in Writers Under Cover; and also in Winners’ Circle 6 (Canadian Authors’ Association). He is also the writer of an award-winning one-act play, "Coming Into Rooms", and his creative non-fiction story: "Monsters" was short-listed for the Air Canada Award. His latest published work is a chapbook,titled “the lost children: out of the cold”. It is a collection of haiku verses inspired by Gilhuly’s volunteer experience with the Out of the Cold homeless relief program. The book is available as an ebook on Kindle.
