ABOUT CAROL A. HILL. Carol Hill is a geologist who has worked in the Grand Canyon and Carlsbad Cavern (and other caves) for over 40 years. She has published her research in books and in Science and other professional publications, and this work has been featured on NOVA and National Geographic Naked Science. Carol is a fellow of the American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) and author of a number of apologetics articles in Perspectives on Science and Christian Faith; she is also the senior editor and one of eleven authors of the book Grand Canyon: Monument to an Ancient Earth, Can Noah's Flood Explain the Grand Canyon? The intent of her newest all-color book, A Worldview Approach to Science and Scripture, is to make the world of Genesis real to people. How can the text of Genesis be understood without considering the worldview, culture, and times of the ancient authors/scribes who wrote it? How can it be visualized without seeing artwork, figures, maps, and tables representing the world of God's chosen people? Without archaeological, biblical scholarship, and other scientific information the world of Genesis remains foreign and "lost" to modern generations. A graduate of the University of New Mexico, Carol is currently an Adjunct Professor in the UNM Continuing Ed Department, where she teaches geology and climate science.
