Shawn Thompson

Shawn Thompson (1951- ) is a journalist, writer, photographer and retired university professor from Canada who has published about issues as diverse as life aboard a navy submarine, life in federal prisons, and the plight of apes like orangutans as an endangered species. He has taught courses on communication in university and is now dedicating his time to the challenge of expanding our curiosity. His next book will be about curiosity and the art of asking deeper questions. Thompson is producing a podcast called SurvivingAdversity on YouTube coming in the summer of 2025.
