After a global career in IT leadership that took him across Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Venezuela, and through extended stays in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, Richard Diamond turned to fiction to explore the volatile border between reality and possibility. A lifelong student of history and a keen observer of how power actually moves through institutions, cultures, and crises, he brings to his novels the perspective of someone who has lived internationally and seen the world from more than one side.

Influenced by the intelligence fiction of John le Carré, Daniel Silva, Ken Follett, and Tom Clancy, Richard Diamond writes stories that combine geopolitical tension, historical awareness, and the intrigue of hidden motives.
