Dylan Brody has spent decades making people laugh at things that probably shouldn't be funny — which turns out to be most of what matters.

A comedian, produced playwright, Hollywood screenwriter, solo performer, and writing coach, he built Active Voice Productions around a single conviction: that precision, honesty, and a well-placed joke do the same essential work. His writing has earned him a Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist credit, a Stanley Drama Award, and endorsements from George Carlin and Robin Williams.

His books range from comic fiction and family memoir to poker strategy — not because he lacks focus, but because the same mind runs through all of it.
