Sandra Chisholm DeYonge

Sandra Chisholm DeYonge was born and raised on the east coast, but has lived for many years in Montana, the home of her heart. She has written over 16 storybooks, novels and works of nonfiction in addition to contributing nearly 20 titles, several AEP award winners, to Project WET's KIDs (Kids in Discovery Series). Sandra's first book, The Last Bit Bear, A Fable, has been described as "an ecological fable which has become a classic of environmental literature for children," and a novel, Expedition Yellowstone, a Mountain Adventure was a finalist for Western Writer's Spur Award. Sandra is currently Vice President of Publishing for Project WET, a worldwide program dedicated to water resource education, and runs her own business, The Write Shoppe.
