Jean Monahan

I am the author of three books of poetry, the first of which, Hands, was chosen by Donald Hall to win the 1991 Anhinga Prize. My second and third books were published by Orchises Press. I am currently working on a fourth collection.

I live and work in Salem, MA. In previous years I lived various places around the world, including China, Scotland, New York City, Brooklyn and Cambridge.
