I am a Christian woman who is passionate about reading, writing, and animal welfare. I am now retired and have been spending much of my time glued to the computer, cranking out short stories, poems, and books.
I share my home in central California with a ten-year-old almost toothless Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix named Gracie Jean. I have 2 daughters, 2 stepsons, and 10 grandchildren.
I have worked as a volunteer firefighter, a waitress, a sexual assault and domestic violence counselor, a CPR and First Aid instructor, a keypunch operator, an emergency medical technician, and a volunteer prison visitor. All of life's experiences are grist for the writing mill, and some of my own stories find their way into the fiction that I write. I'm not saying which ones!
My first three books were non-fiction, but I've been writing fiction in the form of short stories and poems for as long as I can remember. It must run in the family, because my father wrote stories as well, and my brother, Frank DuPont, is also a published author.
It's a thrill for me to see my works in print, and my only hope is that my reading audience will enjoy the fruits of my imagination. Happy Reading, all!
