Pat Elder

I have been training horses for nearly 45 years, at first specializing in full-size horses then moving to Miniatures and Shetlands several years ago. I am the owner of Rosa Roca Training Stable in Oklahoma City, OK where I train and show AMHA, AMHR, and ASPC horses in Halter, Showmanship, Hunter/Jumper, Liberty, In-hand Obstacle, and all of the single-horse driving classes. Horses that I have trained and shown have earned top honors at the AMHR National Show and at Regional and Area shows as well as at the local show level. I am the author of several books, all published by Small Horse Press (smallhorse.com) When I'm not writing or training horses, I am working on original artwork, handmade jewelry, and various other mediums. I sell these items on Etsy.com, where I have 3 shops, HandmadeArtists.com, and a few other online venues.
