Wanda Wyont

I have worked in the field of education over twenty five years in many diverse backgrounds. My teaching experiences range from preschool to college age. I hold an MA in Birth-Kindergarten and have presented multiple workshops at national venues. I've written and published numerous articles and papers on children's issues. As an experienced storyteller, I encourage children to become good readers and writers.

After recently retiring from Gaston College, I am enjoying visiting child care centers and school and sharing my books and presenting the Writing Process. My last book, Barkley's Great Escape, opens up a great discussion on water safety.

I hope that you have an opportunity to read one of my books. I would love to hear from you.
