Angela Elliott

Angela Elliott is a British novelist and screenwriter whose work explores remarkable lives, hidden histories and the territory between fact and invention.

Her published novels include Some Strange Scent of Death, inspired by the disappearance of the Flannan Isles lighthouse keepers; Georgian crime novel The Finish; and The Nine Lives of Antoine Montvoisin, shortlisted for the 2022 Mslexia Fiction Prize, judged by Hilary Mantel.

Angela began her television career in documentaries and has worked in film and television for more than three decades. She was interviewed about the Flannan Isles mystery for the Discovery Channel series Unexplained.

She is represented for novels and screenplays by Julian Friedmann at Blake Friedmann.
