Roy Innes

Roy Innes comes from a family of Canadian pioneers — prairie sod-busters in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He was born in Regina, but grew up in Victoria, B.C. where he attended high school and junior college. Fine arts were his first love but the world of science lured him away for over forty years — MD (UBC), FRCSC (Eye Surgery). During those years, however, a mystery novel usually lay alongside the mountain of medical journals he had to read and so, upon recent retirement, that genre was the natural choice for his first book. He writes from a tiny gulf island which he leaves only occasionally to hunt and hike in the wilderness of British Columbia.

He is presently working on two new mystery novels, one of which is a young adult novel, first of a series.
