Herman H White, born in a two room cabin on the bank of the Cumberland River, Whitley County Kentucky. Growing up Herman hiked dirt and gravel roads to share his fictional stories with neighbors, who invited him back for another tall tale. When Herman H White attended Liberty Elementary School, Herman's teachers often asked him to stand in front of the class and tell fiction stories to entertain fellow students. Valley of the Flames and Burial on Water Box Mountain are two of Herman's legendary stories.
Herman H White is a retired Military and Department of Defense Firefighter.
