Berthold Simons

Berthold Simons is by profession a siouanist and neurolinguist. He has published several linguistic works on the Dakota grammar based on his fieldwork with the Dakota-Sioux in Nebraska and South Dakota - most recently a grammar of the Santee-Sisseton dialect. His current research interest is in the literature of the Dakota.

In his clinical work as a language & speech therapist he has published and edited several books on the therapy and diagnosis of language and speech disorders (aphasia, dysarthria, and dementia).
