Brian W Taylor

I was born and brought up in London, moving to Shropshire when I retired from my job as a lecturer at a horticultural college. As well as teaching I used to write articles, mostly about plants and their place in mythology and religion, which were published throughout the world. When I took early retirement from teaching I took time out to research and write the hardback book I have in print, and which is available through Amazon, Gardens of the Gods. Nowadays I write gardening articles for the village newspaper, help to write plays for a local amateur dramatics group, and have written a number of novels, all of which have been published by Amazon Kindle. Why Weeps the Willow, a ghost story, was published as an e-book by Amazon Kindle in November 2011. Let Sleeping Evils Lie, another ghost story, was published as an e-book by Amazon Kindle in December 2012. A third novel, Murder in the Marches, the first Chief Inspector Macdonald story, was published as an e-book by Amazon Kindle in June 2013. The Disenchanted Garden, a story about people working in a public park in the summer of 1983, my fourth novel, was published as an e-book by Amazon Kindle in December 2013. Haunted Hearts, my fifth novel, in which a murder mystery is solved from beyond the grave, was published as an e- book by Amazon Kindle in December 2014. The Body in the Woods, the second Chief Inspector Macdonald story was published in 2015, Murder Through Mischance , the third in the series, was published in 2016. A fourth Chief Inspector Macdonald story, Don't Count Your Corpses Before They're Dispatched, was published in 2018. A murder mystery not involving Chief Inspector Macdonald, Black Widow, was published in 2019. Another novel, A Ripple Through Time Into Another Dimension, a story involving time travel, though a time portal in a garden in Shropshire, was published in 2020. Also in 2020, Root of All Evil, the first story involving Sinead Grogan and Christopher Caine, from the Chief Inspector Macdonald stories, as Private Investigators solving lesser crimes instead of murders, and in 2021, The Goblins of Dragon Hill, another ripple through time story beginning at the same time portal in Shropshire, this one involving different people though. All the novels are also available as paperbacks published by Kindle. I have a history of the Baugh family available only as an e-book - The Baugh Family of England, Scotland, East Indies and the USA. I also have the e-book version of Gardens of the Gods - Sacred Plants of the World, From Neolithic Times Until The Present Day. My website is http//brianwtaylor.blogspot.com
