Barbara Held

Barbara Held was born in Viroqua, Wisconsin, June 1, 1949. She is the second oldest of six children and had a wonderful childhood. Married for over 51 years, she and her husband, Greg, live in northern Wisconsin, have three sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren.

After many years as a legal secretary, Barb is now retired and enjoying the freedom to spend more time with family and friends. She also enjoys gardening, volunteering for Faith in Action and recently published her first book, based in part on her childhood. She also enjoys writing poetry which has been a hobby since grade school.
