Paul Hedges

Hello, I research and write about the meeting of cultures, worldviews, and religions. I work mainly on the modern and contemporary period. I am fascinated by what happens when different ideas and cultures meet, transform, and engage with each other. My current work is informed by a decolonial approach that considers the nexus of power relations in and between societies and worldviews.

My writing and research is part of my professional work as I am Associate Professor in Interreligious Studies, SRP, RSIS, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

I have worked on, taught at, or lectured in three continents in such countries as England, Wales, Canada, the USA, China, Singapore, Germany, and the Netherlands.
