Quanyu Huang, Ph.D., director of Asian/Asian American Studies Program of Miami University; specialist on Sino-American cultural and educational comparison; guest Professor at Sun Yat-Sen (Zhongshan) University, and member of Expert Committee of Educational Research and Development Center, Senior Professor Association of Peking University; winner of the Profound Impact Award from EHS, Miami University in 2007.
He has published numerous English and Chinese books, Chinese-English dictionaries, and papers, including multiple bestsellers. One of them, Quality Education in America, was the number one bestselling non-fiction book in China for 2000; also, The Hybrid Tiger received a starred review from Publishers Weekly (December 2, 2013) and a review on the front page of The New York Times Sunday Book Review (February 2, 2014).
Dr. Huang has conducted countless lectures in China and the United States. His educational philosophy has encouraged and widely influenced current educational reform in China.
