Biografía Manena Munar

Cursé estudios de periodismo y hablo inglés, francés y un poco de polaco.

He vivido en Filipinas 15 años donde escribí mi primer libro y trabajé como free lance para revistas de viajes en Manila y Hong Kong.

He realizado varias exposiciones fotográficas en Asia y en España.

Colaboro como photojournalist con diferentes medios.

He publicado una novela sobre Filipinas titulada “Y Soplará el Amijan” que fue presentada en España por la escritora Ana María Matute y en Manila por el Instituto Cervantes. Tengo mi segundo libro por publicar sobre Polonia en los años 80: “Sol de Invierno” y un tercero "Parece que va a abrir"

La Oficina Nacional Checa de Turismo me concedió el premio por los reportajes periodísticos publicados durante el 2007.

EL Comité Turístico de Croacia me ha concedido el premio periodístico "Pluma Dorada" del 2014.

Manena Munar Biography

She studied journalism and photography in Complutense University - Madrid.

Speaks English, some French and some Polish.

Lived in Washington D.C. for three years, four years in Warsaw in the 80´s and several years in Manila- Philippine Islands.

She is currently living in Madrid while frequently flying to different countries for professional reasons.

She collaborates by freelancing her articles and photography to newspapers and magazines.

She has held photo exhibits in both Spain and Philippines.

The last photo exhibit she participated with another professional photographers took place in Fine Art Circle in Madrid under the topic The Mediterranean as it Once Was, about Croatia.

In 2007 was awarded by Czech Republic Tourism Board for the press reports published during that year.

In 2014 has been awarded by Croatia Tourism Board with the Top Journalist Award Golden Pen

She has published the novel Amihan, the setting being two different eras in the Philippines. The book was introduced in Spain by the writer Ana Maria Matute and in Philippines by Instituto Cervantes.

She finished writing a second novel Winter Sun about Poland in the 80´s, and a third one set between Hong Kong and Madrid named Sun will shine
