Fons Burger

Fons Burger (1952) is a Dutch journalist, publisher, writer, musician, and entrepreneur. Throughout his career, he has combined investigative journalism, cultural innovation, and activism through documentaries, performances, and projects that challenge convention and inspire change. Burger has always sought new ways to question power and imagine a more just and sustainable world.

Since 2003, he has published nine thrillers, novels, and cookbooks in Dutch, three of which were later released in the United States. In December 2025, the English edition of his latest novel 2125 – The Hibernator will be published, a visionary story about awakening in a future where humanity has learned, at last, to live in balance with nature.

He is currently completing a new non-fiction work that explores practical solutions to the intertwined crises of planet and humanity. This book The Only Possible Solution will be in pre sale mid December 2025.
