“I enjoyed this novel and recommend it without reservation…This novel has more in common with "The Odyssey" of Homer.

"Engrossing Historical Novel… would rank close to Norman Mailer's The Naked and the Dead. I highly recommend to all readers.” Five stars
“Don't skip over this gem while looking for your next read… Far better and far more believable than Tom Clancy was on his best day.” Five Stars
“….have just finished reading An Honorable German and it is one of finest books I have ever read. It ranks with The Young Lions, The Caine Mutiny and From Here to Eternity. In my opinion Das Boot is a distant second for realistic action and detail.” 5 Stars
NELSON DeMILLE: "A truly epic and stirring tale of war, love, and the sea. An Honorable German is a remarkable debut novel by a writer who has done his homework so well that it seems he was an eyewitness to the history he portrays in such vivid detail. An original and surprising look at World War II from the other side. "

AN HONORABLE GERMAN IS AN ANTI-NAZI NOVEL.
The author: I researched this book for years, interviewed surviving Uboat crewmen, read and re-read several hundred books, and had the manuscript read by experts on the German Uboat force, modern day US Navy submariners, and merchant ship captains, and other maritime experts. All the details are accurate. Had I known how much time and work would go into the novel, I never would have written it!
