Frederic Vincent Huber is the author of three print novels, in hardcover and paperback in the U.S. and U.K.

"Apple Crunch" was #4 on a New York Times annual list of "100 Notable Books."

His fourth novel, "The Big Get: All In with the Terrible Angels of Chance," is a mix of suspense, science fiction, and fantasy.

The author has been a lay member of the New England Complex Systems Institute, an independent multi-disciplinary research organization based at Harvard-MIT but global in scope.

Born in New Jersey, in his youth Huber was a gravedigger, Fuller brush man, mate on a sportfishing charter out of Key Largo, FL, and lab tech at an industrial research center.

His college studies were intermittent, commencing in the science curriculum. Bad instruction in freshman chemistry and good instruction in freshman composition eventually led to a B.A. in English (Rutgers University-New Brunswick) and later an M.S. in Business (Pace University-New York).

He entered the writing life as a reporter for daily newspapers in northern New Jersey (Passaic-Clifton Herald News, Bergen County Record), moved to New York and became a freelancer for various business publishers (Prentice-Hall Inc., American Management Association). He's written on economics, science, and legal issues for corporations, including AT&T.

Huber has lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Sarasota, and Las Vegas, each the setting for a novel.
