James Robert Taris

The accomplishments of James Robert Taris include: science teacher grades 7-12, science coordinator grades 7-9, curriculum developer, teacher workshop presenter and author and co-author of numerous ancillary science texts which include Problem Solving in Science, Curious Creatures, The Great Bone Mysteries, and Hands On Science Mysteries.

The author is also a rock and blues musician/vocalist and has played guitar, organ, and blues harmonica at venues in the Boston/New England areas for many years.

His latest work Bullies - An Urban Adventure: The Legend of the Fenway Flyers is a novel based on a true story of his growing up in the shadow of Fenway Park in Boston.

The author is now working on a novel of his humorous and poignant experiences performing at the college fraternities in the Boston/New England area.

James and his wife, JoAnn, love to travel and camp around the United Sates. To date, they have visited almost every state. Of special interest to them on these trips are the history and music of each region.
