Dr. Moore is the founder and CEO of KLM, Inc., a management consultation firm, located in Boulder, Colorado, that specializes in strategy, planning, branding, knowledge management, business ethics, regulatory compliance, and the strategic management of intellectual capital assets such as brands and intellectual property portfolios. Dr. Moore is a well-known strategist, and has worked for over 100 companies in many industry sectors and been instrumental in introducing over 300 products and services into the marketplace.
Dr. Moore is also a Former Adjunct Professor of Law at George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., where she taught elements of intellectual property, legal strategy, intellectual asset management, and intellectual property portfolio management.
As well, Dr. Moore was one of the original founders, and later the General Manager of Strategy and Innovation at Celestial Seasonings, Inc., an international specialty tea company where she managed strategic planning, developed a brand worth over $800 million dollars, and was responsible for corporate strategy, innovation, legal affairs, intellectual property, ethics, and corporate values.
Dr. Moore has over 40 years of professional experience in the world of business. She has taught at three universities and published extensively in numerous anthologies and journals, while also serving as a keynote speaker at many national and international conferences on strategy, branding, corporate ethics, finance, intellectual capital, and the management of intellectual property and intellectual assets.
Dr. Moore’s new book is entitled Intellectual Capital and Enterprise Success – Strategy Revisited, and it is on the new role of intangible, intellectual capital assets and intellectual property law in enterprise strategy and in driving the creation of wealth in the economy.
She is also preparing two more books for publication, the first on the nature of thinking and the limits of knowledge, and the second, on the nature of creativity and the critical differences between creativity and knowledge.
