Diana Cain Bluthenthal

An 18-time published author and illustrator, DIANA CAIN BLUTHENTHAL helps aspiring authors-to-be who are hesitant, intimidated and apprehensive around showing their work, transform into talented, confident writers who are proud to show, share and sell their books. Her first break into the industry came in 1994 via G.P. Putnam’s Sons editor Arthur A. Levine (Harry Potter series). Diana is author of the New York Times featured “I’m Not Invited” and “Matilda the Moocher” with nearly 3 decades of children's literature titles in print. Her work includes partnerships with industry pillars like Charlotte Zolotow and Judith Viorst, and her contributions to children's publishing are highlighted in Reading is Fundamental’s (RIF) 50th anniversary celebration edition “The Art of Reading.”

Diana is the founder and president of the not-for-profit Faith Like a Noodle whose mission is resilience and empowerment for parents and children. She is also the founder, content creator and facilitator of two online membership communities: the Joy Writers Guild for new and aspiring writers and the Cuppa Joy Club for strong women facing life’s challenges with creativity and faith.

In addition to her career in children's publishing with Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, G.P. Putnam, Disney/Hyperion, Henry Holt and others, Diana has served in youth leadership missions in the US and online around the world. Her projects have included: writing, illustrating, event directing, mission retreats and outreach with churches and web based international ministries.
