Gregory L. Schneider

I am a professor of History at Emporia State University in Kansas. My latest book is Rock Island Requiem: The Collapse of a Mighty Fine Line. I am a native Chicagoan, and have received degrees from Drake University, Ohio University and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Currently, I am working on a history of the railroad industry from World War One through the Second World War.
