One of Bloomington's finest and most outspoken poets, Hiromi Yoshida is the author of 7 poetry chapbooks, and 4 full-length poetry collections. Her poems have been included in the INverse Poetry Archive, and nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and the Gerald Cable Book Award. She is the Poetry Editor of Flying Island Journal, and Chair of the Writers Guild at Bloomington, for which she curates and hosts the Last Sunday Poetry reading series. Also a book reviewer for Kirkus Indie, she won first place for Arts and Entertainment Writing for Limestone Post Magazine from the Indiana Professional Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
