Elizabeth Connor MLS

Elizabeth Connor, MEd (STEM Education), MLS, DM/AHIP is Professor of Library Science & Leadership Studies at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina in Charleston.

Since earning a BA in Anthropology in 1977, and an ALA-accredited MLS in 1978, both from the State University College at Geneseo, Ms. Connor has worked as a community college librarian; medical librarian at teaching hospitals and medical schools in three states (Maryland, Connecticut, and South Carolina) and two foreign countries (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Commonwealth of Dominica); and academic librarian. In 2014, she transitioned from the library to the Provost's office where she focuses on faculty learning communities, student analytics, classroom design standards, and ethics curriculum development. In 2015, she earned an MEd degree in Interdisciplinary STEM Education from The Citadel.

She is a distinguished member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP), and edits book reviews for Journal of the Medical Library Association and Doody's Reviews.
