Howdy to all the Cowgirls (and Cowboys too!) out there who have taken the time to click on my biography. I am a writer who lives, write, cooks and rides in Central Oregon. I've been a professional writer since 1985.

In addition to The Cowgirl's Cookbook, I have written Going It Alone; Getting Your Goat: The Gourmet Guide; Lamb Country Cooking; Women and Tricky Ladies ( a history of women trick riders) and my newest book, "You Might Be a Cowgirl If. . . A Guide To Life on the Range".

I just completed "She Speaks To Me: Western Women's View of the Real West Through Poetry and Song", an Anthology of 30 well-kmnown poets and songwriters. Due out Fall of 2016. Look for "Cowgirls in the Kitchen" Winter of 2016- another "scrapbook" of cowgirl and ranch recipes, photos, stories and quotes for and about cowgirls. It will be on Amazon, Fall of 2016.

Thanks for reading this -- I hope you enjoy my books. I enjoy writing them!
