David W. Crocker

David W. Crocker was a senior pastor of churches in several states for 30 years. In 2007 he launched the faith-based, non-profit Operation Inasmuch, Inc., through which he has equipped over 2,300 congregations in 25 states and four countries with the Inasmuch model of compassion ministry. The amazing growth of this model has been the impetus for David's passion for serving.

David describes his life journey as picking up steam instead of slowing down in his later years. There is more work to be done. His passion for serving has only grown in recent years as he continues to dream and work toward seeing serving become a major movement in the world. He says, "This is possible as people self-identify as compassionaries and embrace that role as their calling."

David is blessed with a large, loving family. His son and daughter with two step-daughters have given him and his wife, Brenda, ten grandchildren. He enjoys woodworking, biking, and reading... and ice cream though he has taken a break from that delight for a while! Compassionaries is David's third book.
