Susan R. Holman

I am a writer and editor who explores connections between public or global health and history, nutrition, human rights, disease, poverty, and religion. Most of my books tell stories from the past--especially late antiquity--and how they relate to our thinking and action today (for better or for worse). I am also now working on what's sometimes called "creative non-fiction" and memoir/biography. My academic website and blog is available at: https://ptochotrophia.wordpress.com/.
