Francis Mark Mondimore

Francis Mondimore, MD, is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins and also completed his residency in psychiatry at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Mondimore is the author of six books for general audiences on mental health issues that have appeared in multiple editions, two audiobook versions and have been translated into ten languages. His books have won awards from the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (“Bipolar Disorder, A Guide for You and Your Family”), A “Choice” award for “Outstanding Academic Books” (“Natural History of Homosexuality”) and Book Fest’s “Best Book” award ("Bipolar Disorder”)

He lives in Baltimore.
