Steve spent 21 successful years in Financial Services where he was a software engineer, architect, an Executive Director of I.T, and Global Head of Knowledge Management.
With an extensive history of exploration, Steve was born in Detroit and he spent the next 25 years of his life living in many places around the U.S. - the Midwest (Illinois, Michigan), the South (North Carolina, Georgia, Texas), West (northern California) and the eastern seaboard (New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware) - even spending 6 years growing up in the Caribbean (Puerto Rico, St Thomas). Fueling an intense interest to learn of new cultures and connect with people from all walks of life, Steve's professional career continued on where he left off, taking assignments throughout the world (Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan) and the U.S. (New York, California, Texas, North Carolina, and Illinois).
It is his hands-on experience in technology development and change management, along with Steve's acumen in networking and building strengths in diversity and cultural growth, which has crystallized into the evolving business strategy of wisdom networking, a label he created for his networking strategy for success, and which he describes more fully in the book he co-authored entitled "The Wisdom Network - An Eight Step Process for Identifying, Sharing, and Leveraging Individual Expertise" (American Management Association, June 2006).
Steve is currently a founding partner of The Networlding Partner Alliance and a Partner of New Vine Media, LLC, joining select teams of experts bringing top-tier service and knowledge to their clients in the areas of social networking, technology, and media as management consultants. Steve brings the experience, wisdom, and resources to ensure clients will capitalize on the opportunities presented by the new-age, interconnected world we live in.
