Sally Hohnberger

Born in Appleton, WI 1948. Graduated an RN 1971. Married 1972. Had 2 boys, Matthew 1977, Andrew 1979 and moved from the city to a Wilderness setting in Polebridge, MT in 1983 to find out if God was real. My husband Jim and I found a real, ever present, caring God. This transformed our intellectual "religion" into a personal God experience, that empowers your human choices to change and transform your life in many ways. No longer man-managed but God-governed.

First God dealt with my history issues which were many, then my marriage, and changed my indulgent parenting practices into being delivered from old, ineffective ways of parenting, into God-managed parenting practices. Temper was subdued. Despair overcome. Inadequacies vanquished and much more. God taught me how to teach my boys how to recognize God's inaudible voice to their conscience, based upon the Word of God. It was life changing. Our wilderness lifestyle continued for 30 years in Glacier national Park which gave our boys a unique lifestyle growing up with all the wild animals. Their pets were black bears, abundant white tailed deer, and all other wildlife in our area. Moose, elk, mountain lions, Grizzly bears were normal friends sharing their wilderness. A very unique upbringing.

Out of our experience discovering an empowering God teaching and training us how, In Him to live above the pull of our flesh a ministry evolved and we helped others learn what God taught us. Thus our materials were created to help others practically see how God could change them.
