Cynthia Ann Young

I work on race, politics and popular culture in the 20th and 21st century. My first book _Soul Power_ was on filmmakers, writers and activists of color in the 1960s, and my second book is on race and popular culture after 9/11. I am an Associate Professor at Boston College.
