Marybeth Gasman

Marybeth Gasman is the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Endowed Chair & Distinguished Professor at Rutgers University. She has also served as the Judy & Howard Berkowitz Chair at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a historian of higher education and writes about race in America, broadly defined. Her areas of expertise include Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Minority Serving Institutions, Leadership, Fundraising, Philanthropy, and Systemic Racism in Higher Education.
